  • Not at all. We hire for strong fundamentals and genuine curiosity. Domain knowledge in payments is nice-to-have, and we have structured onboarding to get you up to speed on the technical and regulatory landscape. We care more about how you think than what you already know.
  • We mean it. Remote employees are not at a disadvantage in terms of visibility, promotions, or access to leadership. Our meetings are async-first and documented. When we do have synchronous calls, we record and summarize them. We have promoted remote employees into leadership roles, and our engineering lead has never stepped into an office.
  • We target three weeks from application to offer for most roles. The timeline breaks down roughly as: application review (5 days), recruiter call scheduling (3 days), technical session (5 days), take-home project (5 days), final round (3 days). We will tell you if we need more time, and we will not leave you waiting without a status update for more than 5 business days at any stage.
  • Yes. We hire in 12+ countries and are expanding our entity coverage. For countries where we don't have a local entity yet, we can often engage through an Employer of Record (EOR) partner. We will be upfront about any constraints during the recruiter call.
  • All full-time employees receive stock options. Grants vest over four years with a one-year cliff. The grant size is tied to your level and disclosed before you accept an offer. We also share a simplified cap table annually so you know what your equity actually represents in percentage terms — not just a raw number of options.
  • We run a small cohort of engineering interns in summer (June–August) and occasionally hire directly from that cohort. We don't currently have a formal graduate program, but we regularly hire people in their first or second full-time role — especially in engineering and operations. The roles we post will indicate if they are open to early-career candidates.
